60163 Tornado comes to Walton-on-the-Naze
12/08/2017
To celebrate the 150th year of Walton's Railway Station, the 60163 Tornado steamed into town, from London Liverpool Street Station.

Throughout the day, it was taking people to and from Colchester Town; taking passengers back to the time of steam.

There were lots of other attractions going on within the seaside town during the day, including live music in the High Street and free access, when wearing a special time-specific wrist band, to all the rides on Walton Pier - this proved very popular.

The James Stevens No:14 heritage Lifeboat was also taking passengers for trips around the backwaters, from Titchmarsh Marina, throughout the day.

A good time was had by all and the weather was kind!
